This session introduces Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), using insights from The Little Book of ACEs to explore how early trauma impacts development, behaviour, and emotional well-being. Building on a trauma recap, it emphasises the role of secure, trusting relationships in healing. Through videos and case studies across mainstream, MLD, ASC, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD settings, participants will examine the effects of ACEs, resilience, and protective factors. Practical strategies include applying PACE and using targeted resources to support young people. Further reading is provided to support ongoing professional development.
This session can be booked as a standalone session or as part of our Trauma Informed Practice Package. Please email enquiries@enterpriselearning.org for more information.
