This introductory course offers essential strategies for supporting individuals with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), a specific profile of autism characterised by extreme avoidance of everyday demands, often expressed through challenging behaviours. The course provides practical approaches to manage and reduce demand-avoidant behaviours, offering participants a deeper understanding of the underlying causes. It equips professionals with effective tools to develop more supportive, positive, and proactive strategies when working with individuals with PDA.
