This introductory course offers an overview of the SCERTS Model, a multidisciplinary framework designed to support autistic individuals in the key areas of Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, and Transactional Support. Participants will explore how SCERTS can be applied to create person-centred, respectful, and empowering support plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. The course will also provide practical insights into using SCERTS to promote meaningful communication, emotional well-being, and social development, ensuring that each individual receives the right support for their growth and success.
